One-Week Training Program on “Cyber Security and Digital Forensic (CSDF)” (18-23 December, 2023)

The aim of this training program is to provide awareness on cyber security and digital forensics, to familiarize everyone with the security challenges in the cyber space and to promote research in various aspects of cyber security, digital forensics. The theme of this edition of CSDF is digital forensics, which covers subareas such as network forensics, mobile forensics, web forensics, e-mail forensics, and role of AI and ML in digital forensics.

Center for Cyber Security and Cryptology (CCSC), Sharda University in association with Future Crime Research Foundation (FCRF) an IIT Kanpur incubated start-up conducted a webinar on “Cryptocurrency World: Crimes, Crooks & Cops” on 27th January 2023, Friday, 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Cryptocurrency is a virtual currency that uses cryptography for security. It is decentralized and operates independently of a central bank for example bitcoin, ethereum, and litecoin.

Certificate Training Program (2-Week) on “Cyber Security and Digital Forensic: CSDF-CP2023”
(2nd -13th January, 2023)

Center for Cyber Security and Cryptology (CCSC), Sharda University has organized a two-week certificate training program on “Cyber Security and Digital Forensic” during January 2-13, 2023, for students, researchers, faculty members and industry professionals. This program provided a strong foundation of the theoretical and practical aspects of the different dimensions of cyber security, such as cryptography, network security, software security, system security measures and models, information security, computer forensics and knowledge of relevant standards and regulatory requirements, security audit etc. The programme was offered in hybrid mode. For offline candidates the venue for this program would be the Center for Cyber Security and Cryptology at Sharda University, Greater Noida. The content of this course was covered in 40 sessions, each of 90 minutes. Participants are requested to register online for the event using the link given below.

Intensive Training (5 Days) on “Zero to Hero on Assembly Programming”
(05th -09th November, 2022)

This is a 5 days free online intensive training programme on Assembly programming being conducted for students of all streams in collaboration with Certin and CyberVidyapeeth Foundation Faridabad. Assembly Programming is a low-level programming language and these days used in reverse engineering of malwares. These sessions include online hands-on sessions by different experts. The objective of the event is to make participants aware of Assembly Language and how it is used in decoding the code during reverse engineering and malware analysis.

The Objective of the program was to provide awareness on cyber security & AI, to familiarize everyone with the various challenges in this field specially in its emerging areas and to promote solution-based research approach in various aspects of cyber security by giving hands-on training. It was open for faculty, academicians, industry personnel and researchers.
